A Digital Visible Spectrophotometer is a laboratory instrument used to measure the intensity of light absorbed by a solution in the visible region of the electromagnetic spectrum (approximately 400–700 nm).
It works by passing visible light of a specific wavelength through a sample and measuring how much light is absorbed. The amount of light absorbed is directly related to the concentration of the substance in the solution, according to Beer-Lambert’s law.
